Statements and Panel Discussion on the mandate and structure of the future EMN
This session shall primarily serve to discuss the future options for the EMN mentioned in the Commission’s Green Paper. The discussion shall centre on the proposed structure and mandate of the future EMN taking into account the statements made by other organisations and initiatives working in the area of migration and flight at European and international levels. Issues raised will include:
Short Contributions (5mins each) by various stakeholders working in the field of immigration and asylum on the role of an EMN within the general context of migration and integration
followed by short initial reactions from nominated
Integration (Zuzana SMOLÍKOVÁ, CZ) and EMN (Gerry HUGHES, IE) NCPs.
